The registration to the first Glasgow Brain Bee competition will be open soon.
The competition is planned to take place in March, 2018 at the University of Glasgow.
To prepare for the contest, students should study Neuroscience: Science of the Brain and Brain Facts book which are both available on Resources page. Any other neuroscience textbook would further help you prepare for the contest. Keep an eye on ‘Study Resources’ page because in the next couple of weeks it will expand.
The day will be full of activities, talks by neuroscientists, experiments, games and networking opportunities!
Lastly, there will be many prizes, including neuroscience textbooks. Also we will be giving out prizes for other challenges throughout the day. The winner of the competition will be awarded a trip to the National Brain Bee competition!
A neuroanatomy practical exam with brain tissues. 60 seconds are granted at each station to provide names and/or basic functions of 15 structures.
